- The first terrorist identified is Adil Hussain Thoker, a local resident of Anantnag.
- The second terrorist is Ali Bhai, who is also known as Talha Bhai.
- The third terrorist is Hasim Musa, also referred to as Suleiman.
- Thoker is a Kashmiri local, whereas Musa and Talha are suspected to be Pakistani nationals.
